CHANGES OF ORDER 1. Any changes must be submitted 14 days in advance prior to the event date. 2. Any changes within 14 days prior to the event date will not be entertained. CREATIVE VARIATION Reka Baka reserve the right to any alterations on the design if deemed necessary. Our creations are all handmade and no two designs will look exactly alike. FLOWERS ARRANGEMENT 1. Client may request for specific fresh flowers, subject to retail availability. In the situation the fresh flower requested by the client are not available, Reka Baka serve the right to substitute with any other suitable fresh flower available. 2. The floral arrangement of the cake varies upon the natural flow of the fresh flowers available. 3. Although sugar / gum paste flower and decorations are made from edible ingredients, they should not be consumed as it may consist of internal dowels and wires for support. ALLERGY Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You are to agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions. REFUNDS, POSTPONEMENTS & CANCELLATIONS 1. Shall you need to postpone your cake for another date, we require a minimum of 14 days’ notice prior to the date of the event. Failure to do so will be charged additional 50% from the total cake value. 2. Shall you need to cancel the cake order, we require a minimum of 14 days’ notice prior to the date of the event. There will be no refund but 100% from the total cake value can be used as credit for future order. 3. There is no refund for any cancellation within 14 days prior to the date of the event. 4. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, refunds requested due to decorating style, colour shade or general decoration design will not be entertained. 5. In the event of an unavoidable situations such as natural disasters, pandemic or any other Act of Nature, no refunds shall be given and you may reschedule for a full store credit. 6. If the cake does not meet your expectations when it arrives, please ensure you take a photo showing any damage and contact us within 24 hours of receiving. Reka Baka will not accept liability for any complaints made after 24 hours. 7. In the very unlikely event that we have to cancel your order for any reason, Reka Baka will provide you with the earliest notice possible and we shall discuss with you on a suitable alternative. If you do not wish to accept our suggested alternative, then we shall refund the full amount paid.

Delivery & Pick Up

DELIVERY 1. All deliveries are managed by in-house runner unless informed earlier via third-party vendor (Lalamove or Grab), to deliver within Kuala Lumpur and specific areas within Selangor; 2. For multi-level building units or shopping malls, customers are required to collect from the driver at the main entrance as charges do not include parking fees. 3. Please choose the time slot carefully as our deliveries may take up to three hours per slot, and we are unable to take requests for specific delivery times. 4. For multi-level residences, buildings and shopping malls, please ensure that a person is available to receive the order at the main entrance as our courier is unable to deliver the order straight to your unit. The order will be returned to us if the collection is not completed; 5. For landed properties, please ensure that a person is available to receive the order. The order will be returned to us if the collection is not completed; 6. Please take note that once delivery is confirmed, Reka Baka will not be held liable for any damages that may occur during the delivery process; 7. Once the cake has been delivered and signed for, Reka Baka will not accept any liability for any damages to the order or for any failure to follow the instructions provided; PICK UP 1. Shall you choose to pick the order yourself, Reka Baka are deemed to be free of any liability for any damaged incurred once it is in the care of the client. 2. Once the cake has been delivered to you, Reka Baka will not accept any liability for any damages to the order or for any failure to follow the instructions as provided.

Cake Care

Make sure you have enough room in your car for the size of cake you purchased. 3. Keep the cake level when you carry / transport it (avoid putting it on a slanted car seat). 4. Keep your indoor car temperature low. 5. Plan your route, drive carefully and avoid slamming your brakes or turn sharply. 6. Orders that cannot be picked up will not be refunded. CAKE STORAGE The cake should be refrigerated or keep it in an air-conditioned area (at 16℃ - 19℃) before display. CAKE DISPLAY 1. Keep the cake out of the sun and away from heat. 2. Make sure your cake stand and table are stable and level. 3. Sugar flowers, and other sugar decorations are very delicate and fragile. Avoid touching them if possible. 4. Once the cake is delivered or picked up, all responsibility belongs to the client. CAKE SERVING 1. Let sit at room temperature at least 1-2 hours before serving. Our cake tastes best at room temperature. 2. Watch for and remove all dowels, support materials, flowers and decorations before serving. 3. All delicacies are best consumed within 48 hours from collection but can be chilled up to three days.
